Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund is an asset management company that was set up in 1996. The AMC is sponsored by Templeton International Inc. and offers a wide range of mutual fund schemes, such as the Franklin India Flexi Cap Fund, Franklin India Focused Equity Fund and the Franklin India Prima Fund, among others. As of February 2024, the mutual fund house also holds investments worth around Rs. 390 crores in the banking and finance sector, owning stocks of Federal Bank Ltd., and City Union Bank Ltd.
